As an artist, explorer and founder of Barrientos Art, Juan Barrientos is an imaginative, self-taught photographer, traveller, and lover of nature, food and life experiences. His artistic journey started as a child by drawing ninja turtles, palm trees, sunsets, mountains and other natural raw settings from his native country of El Salvador. Tuned in with nature, while simultaneously being immersed into an environment of endless photos, paintings and architectural designs from his talented father, a true photography enthusiast was born. It was through this colourful, dynamic environment in which Juan found a sense of belonging in the visual arts.
A devotion for photography since a teen, coupled with an interest in business and entrepreneurship, made path to launching a career as a photographer and Visual Artist.
Some of the extraordinary characteristics of his work include artistic quality, mood and original points of view. The idea behind his art is a different story waiting to be unfold by a different viewer each time.
